Circe in Providence

I came here with coworkers after work one day. The food and service was great. They have a great cocktail list and plenty of pescatarian options.

Very nice place good vibes very recommended to go there couple friends and enjoy the food drinks and the music.I ordered the grilled salmon and it was grate the cooked was exactly how is supposed to be and it was delicious.The server was very nice and polite.the food and the drinks arrived on time to the table.The dessert was good and fresh.The only think is the music that was so loud so it makes you to speak very loud. In general is a good place especially when you don’t need to look for a parking they have a valet service.

We went for the first time and the atmosphere was great. We were seated at the large table in the front window. There was only one waitress for all the tables (7+) so service was a bit slow, but considering how much work she had to do, she did great! All of the food was amazing.

One of our favorite restaurants in the world. And Dave our favorite server. We came here for one of our first dates, and again on our wedding night. It is incredibly special to us, and we hope it stays here for many years to come!

A little packed, pretty girls. Alot of mobsters. Will go again but dress so I can fit in better. Might grow my hair and throw more gel in. Other than that. It was great

BRAISED BONELESS SHORT RIB - all I can say is...wow. A lot of reviews on Yelp had recommended this dish and it did not disappoint. The short rib is so tender! It's rested on a bed of truffle risotto that paired so well with the meat. It is a strong truffle taste though, so if you don't like truffle, this probably isn't a best dish for you.

With the great reviews Circe has it was very high on my bucket list. We tried it this weekend and I was a little disappointed. The wait staff was excellent and the food was good however not as good as I thought it would be and did not seem to quite justify the higher price point. We were very turned off by the fact that it seemed to turn into a nightclub around 10pm. The music became very loud and the table of 4 behind us was VERY loud and doing tequila shots; not really the vibe we were looking for for a holiday dinner. It seemed like Circe quite doesn't know what type of place it wants to be. I think I will definitely give them a second shot but for now, for dinner, they get a 3 star from me.

What a gem in the financial district of Downtown Providence! I’ve passed by many times bu have never been in before. A college and I decided to try it out for lunch after reviewing the menu online. We both had a difficult time picking a lunch item everything sounded so good. I went with the meatloaf and my college had the Italian burger. The staff greeted us warmly when we arrived and the service was excellent. Our meals came out in a very reasonable amount of time looking delicious. Let’s just say by the time we were done the dishwasher didn’t have to work too hard. The place is very cool and very cozy. I liked that the kitchen is open to the dining area. We will definitely return and tell our friends and family.

The staff and food at Circe are excellent. I was greeted and seated immediately by the hostess. And promptly waited on and ordered my food and drink. The farm fresh salad is wonderful. And the meatloaf there is delicious. Always a great time when I go.

The food was delicious and there were a number of creative menu items in addition to traditional fare. We had the deviled eggs and short ribs appetizers. All very good. They have a good selection of wines and fun cocktails. A nice thing about the restaurant is that they are open for dinner earlier than most. It is very popular - we were able to slip in without reservations at 4:30 but by 6:00 the place was packed. The service was very prompt and the server knowledgeable about the menu items and the specials.

Went there for restaurant week. The lamb lollipops we're so juicy and flavorful. The blue cheese prosciutto is savory and filling. Would come back again.

Very nice atmosphere staff is very friendly. The lady who was working the bar (Rachel) has great customer service so friendly and works great under pressure, it was a Saturday night and they were very busy and she handled the pressure like a pro.Would definitely go back!

Terrible cut of boneless ribeye! Nice people. James the waiter was nice. We didn’t enjoy our dessert and he took it off the bill. Great drinks. Didn’t enjoy the food like I thought my boyfriend and I would’ve. Won’t be back for the food.

I came for brunch on a Sunday with a group of 7 a few weeks ago. The restaurant was pretty empty but the vibe and atmosphere was light and relaxed. The server was a bit rude with me throughout the meal but it didnt take away from the good food. Everyone at the table only ordered the burger, chicken and waffles or the egg plate. The chicken & waffles def could've used some sauce aside from the syrup but was still tasty. Everyone who got a burger mentioned theirs was overcooked compared to what they had asked. I almost forgot that we ordered desert (probably because I hardly ever do). Anywho, I shared the brownie and ice cream which was delicious and another friend enjoyed their dulce de leche desert. Overall a solid option for brunch, especially considering it's one of the very few places in RI that participants in bottomless mimosas.

Food was great. Drinks were perfect. Rachel is the real deal, Providence RI’s version of Debi Mazar! Made me feel at home as if I were in NYC. Thank you.

Because of you guys I’m out 59$ because I thought supporting your business today would be a good idea and I was wrong - I put my order in through grub hub and you guys closed last min . The little money I get every week I won’t be refunded for now for 5 days !! You couldn’t even call me or the driver and it’s very sad, because the food is good here, but after this i WONT ever support you guys and let all my friends know what you did

LAMB LOLLIPOPS - I'm so surprised that have lamb as an appetizer! I don't eat lamb because I don't like how gamey it typically is. My best friend ordered this and I tried a bite and it is so good! There was no gamey taste in it at all! It definitely tastes different from beef but I would definitely recommend this!

Nice restaurant overall, the staff were very nice and warm. The music was a bit loud but I suppose it shouldn’t have been a surprise. I did not like the mashed potatoes at all it tasted like instant mashed potatoes. For the desert I had a brownie topped with cream which per the server was good, wrong it wasn’t.

Best lobster, scallops and fillet mignon dish I have ever had. Ambience is lovely. Server was personable and attentive. Pricey and worth it.

Great food and a gorgeous restaurant. The mussels are big and the sauce a brilliant complement. The service was a bit off, not only for us but also for other tables. Hopefully just a one-time hiccup.

A large group of us came here after my best friend’s courthouse wedding, just down the street. It was close to the end of lunch service and the chef offered us the dinner menu in addition. The lunch menu looked amazing and everything was delicious—highly recommended the crab cakes.We even got a complimentary champagne toast from the staff. We will never forget it!

Overall a good dining experience in Providence. It's got great food, really knowledgeable sommeliers! I highly recommend for family dinners, date night and work dinners.

Circe was an amazing find. The staff are wonderful. We had a very active infant in our party and they were so kind to her, which was amazing. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

This place is AMAZING! The manager/hostess, Taylor, was super helpful and pleasant to walk in too. We sat at the high top, which gave us the feeling of being at the bar while actually being at a table. Our server, James, was so attentive!! He was extremely sweet, funny and made the restaurant feel warm and inviting. Service was prompt and he wasn't overbearing.

I loved our visit to Circe! The waiter made great suggestions for our cocktails and meal and we loved every bite! The service was awesome, our waiter was a really nice guy. My boyfriend’s steak was very over cooked and the waiter made a point of telling the chef and taking care of it. And I definitely recommend the dessert if you have room, we loved both of the things we tried!

Awesome food served in a chic environment. Terrific service and even better food. I love the lamb lollipops for an appetizer and they've got a killer charcuterie. Very well built menu with something for everyone. Portion sizes are great, I always leave stuffed. Cocktails are just okay but not to a distracting degree.

The food was phenomenal. I tried a charcuterie board, short rib risotto balls, and the 2 way duck. All were great.The special cocktail menu were also very well done. I recommend the Manhattan, which is sweeter than usual and the key lime pie martini from the dessert menu. I tried the busted nut, which was served in a coconut, but it was a bit watery tasting to me, likely from the coconut.After 10pm, they had a DJ and a violinist, which was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen. He played violin to the music the DJ was playing.They also serve food until midnight, which is a big deal around this area. They also have valet so you don't have to deal with finding parking.
